Welcome!

The Manistee Catholic Central Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization, and a separate entity from the MCC School. Our own Board of Directors and 501(c)(3) status allows the foundation to receive gifts that are tax deductible to our donors in accordance with IRS Law. The Foundation's goal is to be able to make significant yearly contributions to the school so it is better equipped to handle the changing demands of educating our youth.

Since its inception in 1985, the MCCS Foundation has contributed over $1,200,000 to the school!

Saber Strong Campaign

The Saber Strong Campaign is an effort to support Manistee Catholic Central during a critical time. This campaign has two critical components: prayer and fundraising.

First, we invite all of our Saber family to join in prayer for our school. We will be posting an updated prayer below regularly. All things are possible through God!

Second is our fundraising campaign. Donations will be used help cover operational costs for the coming school year. It is the ultimate goal that Manistee Catholic Central will be able to offer Pre-K thru 12th grade programming. If Pre-K thru 12th grade programming is not deemed feasible for the 2024-2025 academic year, donors may request a refund on or before June 30, 2024 by utilizing the “Contact us” form at the bottom of this page.

Click here to read the letter sent by the MCCS Foundation February 2024 for more detail.

Important Update (4/9/24)

The MCCS Foundation is engaging with a cannon lawyer on April 10 for advice on filing an appeal to Rome to request an investigation of the current situation in Manistee. Please see the attached letter from the Foundation for details. Until this appeal is complete, we kindly ask those who have given to consider holding off on requesting a refund of your donation until we have heard back regarding this. We will provide updates on the website as more information becomes available.

Prayer: Canticle of Zechariah

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
he has come to his people and set them free.

He has raised up for us a mighty savior,
born of the house of his servant David.

Through his holy prophets he promised of old
that he would save us from our enemies,
from the hands of all who hate us.

He promised to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember his holy covenant.

This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham:
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight all the days of our life.

You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High;
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
to give his people knowledge of salvation
by the forgiveness of their sins.

In the tender compassion of our God
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
